1994 Landcruiser Gearbox Noise

I have a 1994 Toyota Landcruiser Cab Chassis and recently had a total overhaul of the gearbox and transfer case to rectify a whirring noise in the gearbox but it is still there and maybe even getting worse. Any ideas anyone on what it could be? David
