Looking To Buy!

Hi Everyone. My name's Tom, and I'm a student from Nort East London. I'm currently on the hunt for my first car, and have decided that the Toyota Yaris would be ideal. I love Japanese cars for a kick off, and the Yaris seems to be a very reliable and efficient motor, great for a young driver like myself. I'm 17, so the insurance is going to kill me, but hopefully if I can find the right car, the money will be worth it.

I'm thinking of a 99' 1.0 Yaris, whether it be S, GS, or GLS spec. They're all in the same insurance group, and I'm not overly bothered about extras. I'm looking to spend around £1500 on the car, but would be willing to put a little extra in the kitty if the car is spot on. I would consider going up to an '01 plate, however insurance would go up quite considerably, about £400 from what I've managed to work out.

Any info on cars for sale near abouts my area would be fantastic. Anything in London really, as my free Oyster would cover the trip. Then I can hopefully get my motor, and become an active member of the community. :)
