Electric Wing Mirror Adjustment... A Quick Check Please?

Hey all...

I wonder if someone could please advise whether the wing mirror adjustment panel, on the dash, is, or isn't supposed to be backlit?...

I ask because mine isn't, which is a bit of a pain at night... feeling my way around for the mirror fold button!

I second the first suggestion! But it will be really annoying if the mirror close automatically when I stop my engine while waiting for traffic light!
