Abs Malfunction In Rain

I have a toyota fortuner and in the last rain, its breaks felt too weak and ABS acted even on simple breaking. Then the steering control lost for a split of second and i could control it upon reducing the speed. I was not overspeeding and now, when there is no rain, everything looks good. Any of you know what went wrong??
