more performance & economy? - the Ecotek CB-26P

Hi folks,

I was wondering if anyone is using one of these devices on their Toyota and has an opinion to share, as the product seems to deliver according to various reviews I have read.

Hey, my dad has got one on his Vauxhall Frontera. He says that it has helped by reducing fuel consumtion on long journeys. Thats about all i got from him, so at least it has proved one point they made about the product :D

Dont know how true, but I heard they really mess with your system and are not worth it 'long term'

Unichip's seem to get good reviews, everyone I know whose had one installed is very happy with the product in terms of both performance and economy.

Can get them including fitting for approx £470 from Millway Sports in Hampshire.

Most important thing to check is that the place installing knows what they are doing as the chip is only as good as the installation engineer.

He has been using it for about a year i think now. Seems to be working fine. He said hes had no problems with it. So maybe it could be long term. Now all i have to do is wait and see really. Cheers for the info tho!:D
