Leds In Headlight Cluster?

Hi all, first Prius question!

I've noticed that there is a row of what looks like LEDs in the headlamp clusters on my 2007 Prius. It looks like they're actually in there too!

Anyone know if they work or are even real LEDs? They'd make nice DRLs!

Fake. There are similar ones on the gen3 Prius and they're fake too.

One of the first questions I asked also.

There are some aftermarket ones available in Japan and the US, but I'm not so sure you're able to use them here (well maybe not legally??).

I do know the illuminated Toyota sign is available from the US PriusChat forum site though. You can also get illuminated Prius scuff guards for the front sills too - if that's your cup of tea.
