Oil Change

Morning folks, My 57 reg aygo 21,700k miles is going in for an oil change tomorrow, it had a major 3 year service 19-2-2010 at 18,178 mile so no need for another service as i have only done 3,500 miles since the service but i do like to change the oil every year as i have always done with every car i have ever owned. What i need to know is despite looking at the owners manual page 255 i am still not 100% sure what grade oil the car needs as it says the preferred choice is 5w 30 but if you look at page 287 it actually gives 4 grades. Does anyone actually know what grade engine oil is required and will it need to be fully synthetic ...Cheers Colin

40's are for warmer climates like mine.. :) :)

5/30 is your choice + synthetic is always best.

Semi synthetic will also do the job.

New oil filter also in every oil change !

try to change oil every 6-7 months regardless covered miles...

1 year old oil is too long.

Cost, i know...
