2.2 D-Cat Water Pump Replacement

I bought my 2007 T180 used in January 2011, in November 2010 the water pump was changed free of charge during it's 4th service at the dealer I bought it from. I can't remember where I've read it on here, and I cannot find it any more, but I recall something about the air con needing emptying and re gassing when changing the water pump? If this is true, then theoretically I shouldn't need to give any attention to the air con system for at least a year? Would the coolant have been changed too?

Any information appreciated!

Thanks

there is no need to touch the air cond when changing the water pump,When changing the radiator you would need to empty the condenser and refill the a/c system hope this helps!
