Wiring Lighting Board

hi,

just bought a bike carrier to put on my corolla verso 2003 T-spirt, and have to connect a lighting board, but cant find any info for the wire colours.

right cluster connector has a green/yellow, green/white, green, red, red/black, white/black.

left cluster has green, green/white, red/black, white/black, green/black.

on that basis i am guessing i will be tapping off the right cluster.

i'm trying to work out and illiminate the colours

red and red/black - indicators?

thats as far as i can get, white/black earth return?...or single fine white wire coming off all bulb connectors possibly earth return.

hoping to wire this up before friday as going on holiday saturday morning....no presure guys.

colours on the lighting board are; yellow for l/h indicator, blue for rear fog, white for earth return, green for r/h indicator, brown for r/h tail light & plate light, red for stop lamp, black for l/h tail & plate light.

any pointers in the right direction would be helpful, ruling out paying someone to do it!

thanks in advance

Can't you take a common earth for all the lights on the board and then just take a spur off the cars lights wiring so they light up at the same time?

Have to make sure you take the right spur though or you could end up with the wrong lights coming on lol

hi, yes i have a multi meter, never used it but had thought of trying to identify wiring using it.

i did tap off all the wires but only got one brake light and indicator working, and when braking the dashboard light flashes on and off, so have disconnected. Off camping in 2 weeks ime so would like to get it working for then

Thanks

Hi thanks for imput, i did try tapping off all the wires, but it looked like a christmas tree, too many working at the same time or flashing on and off.

i used it with the right brake light working and the right indicator working, thought it better to have the right side working in case i got stopped. got back yesterday without being stopped, but going camping in 2 weeks so would like to suss it out before then.

cant find a haynes manual that covers the verso....looks like Halfords have stopped selling the haynes manuals for some reason (will try online)

thanks again
