Automatic Gear Knob

Can I change my automatic gear knob on my Aygo?

Ideally I would like to change it for a pool ball one. Obviously, as and when I sell it, I'd like the option of putting the original knob back on, so don't want to break it.

Can this be done, does anyone know?

Yes you can. I believe its the same M12x1.5 thread as the manual shifter.

Anyone find any decent gear knobs? I really want to change the stock one on our Aygo (MMT) - but I refuse to pay the extortionate prices Mr. T wants for the ones listed in the catalogue.

Well by chance i own a AYGO with MMT and a Lexus IS300 with a chrome pool style gear knob, i'll try swapping them over later on and i'll report back if it fits.

Here you go, looks rather good if i say so myself. The Lexus gear knob is chrome on the top and Grey at the bottom, this one is off my IS300 Auto , my guess is the IS200 auto and manual gear knobs will be the same ...happy hunting on eBay
