Toyota Levin Idle Problem

My 1991 GT-Apex Levin just started having an idle issue. When you start it it idles normally but after a couple of seconds it sits at around 500 rpm and shudders really bad. when it's cold it will idle spasticly between 500rpm and 1000rpm kinda sounding like a rotor. Once you give it a little gas it's fine but you have to release the clutch at 2000rpm and ride it heaps to get it moving.

Any ideas feedback or help on the question would be great.
