Soarer Question

a guy i work with is going to get a soarer,hes not sure which one to buy,either a 2.5 twin turbo or a 4.0v8? which is the cheapest to insure and which is faster?

Nice choice. I've been in both and couldnt split them apart but then again if your going to modify, the twin turbo has to be the way to go. its a lot easier to squeeze the power out of that one. throw in an intercooler upgrade and raise the boost a little. generally the ECU's in turbo toyotas will deal with up to around 12psi without to much trouble. that said the underwriters arent likely to share you enthusiasm for more power.
