is it possible to have 2 headunits runnin in a 93 mr2, wired up so there is some kind of link and not so that when one switches on the other switches off???

just wondering as i have a kenwood cd and was considering the possibility of a kenwood mini-disc as i can get hold of one fairly cheap. i use mini-discs uite alot and use cd's more, but having both would really suit me, any advice would be a great help. thanks.
