My Daughters Aygo Squeals First Thing In The Morning

HI All,

My daughter has a 2007 Aygo with 26k on the clock, it has started to occasionally make a loud squealing noise from the engine bay. I have tried the belts ant they are all good.

It is worse when it is a cold day but dose come and go so difficult to diagnose, I am starting to think clutch thrust bearing but as it comes and goes it is difficult to actually be near or in the car when it happens.

Anybody else had issues like this?

Is it worse after pulling away after a cold start.cos it could still be the belt causing although adjusted ok.

Hi, it seems very sporadic, some times it doesn't happen for days. I have not been in it yet when it happens but from discussing with my daughter it seems to come and go with the use of the clutch which is what turns me towards the thrust bearing.

I am trying to get more info but was hoping it might jog someones memory for something they have experienced on an Aygo before.
