Self Service (Nearly) On 2005 Corolla Verso.

Trying to save some money and do a bit of D.I.Y. servicing on my 2005 Corolla Verso. It's done about 75000 miles and is overdue a service and cambelt change.

I bought the following from Euro car parts.

Oil filter

Air filter

Pollen filter

6l of oil

Cambelt kit

The pollen filter was an easy swap with no problems.

The air filter went in okay but the plastic spacer on the underside kept falling off. On the original it is glued in place. I've left it off for the time being and may try sticking it on when I give the fuel filter a go.

As for the oil and filter change I will leave that to my local garage to do when they sort the cam belt out. The cam belt is a bit beyond my ability.

Saved a good bit of money sourcing the parts myself and the garage are helpful in fitting the supplied parts.

Will post how the fuel filter change goes.
