Rear Diff

Hi guys, can anyone tell me what tool/s I need to loosen the filler plug on the rear diff.Mines extremely tight and I dont want to ****** up the plug. Mind you I doubt it hasn' been off in a few years, also wanting to change the oil in the gear box .Is it the same size plug as trhe rear diff? any help would b most appreciated , as usual :thumbsup:

There is a great DIY for this pinned on the tech section (assuming its a 4.2)

You will need a 10mm Allen socket for the rear diff, I find the wrench usually needs a gentle thump with the palm of your hand to loosen.

The gearbox is 24mm.

Don't forget your front transfer box if you are doing the rear diff, its also on a 2 year change and separate to the gearbox.
