Saw a light blue Prius 2012 plate. It had chrome door handles and trim. The wheels were black with chrome trrims. It looked very smart. I have never seen a Prius like it previously. Was it a special?

The Plug-in has silver door handles.

The car you saw was almost certainly a Plug-in as the light blue & silver door handles are exclusive to the Plug-in

Thanks for the info. The dealer never had a "plug in" in the showroom last time I visited. I did like the light blue colour.
