Mr2 Mk2 Turbo

hi iam new to the site, i havnt owned a mr2 before. but iam looking to buy a turbo one. i have the chance of a mr2 mk2 turbo j reg. the owner tells me it just stopped running. it has 9 months mot and pasted with no problem, but now doesnt start due to having no spark ! he says it needs a new coil as not sparking, coulde this be the case or cud it be more of a problem ie ECU any advice wud be greatfull. like i say i have never owned a mr2 but really do fancy one thanks,

Hi john, it all depends on how much £££ the owner is willing to let the car sell for. Keep in mind that for a good condition Mr2 turbo you can pay around £3500-£4500 so their holding their value well these day's and i can imagine that value to increase over the next decade. Is the rest of the car in good condition?
