Which is better the supercharger kit or the turbo kit

I have a t sport 2003 model and heard a few things about modifying the yaris in general. Been to the tdi powertuning website and the fensport site.

Why is it that they give the turbo kit to the 1.3 and the supercharger to the t sport ?

which site shows a turbo for the 1.3? you sure its not the 1.0 the turbo is for. HKS do turbo kit for all the yaris engines 1.0L 1.3L 1.5L you just need to know what to ask for.

Blitz do a supercharger for the 1.3L and 1.5L

Yeah I think you r right . It was the fensport site showing the 1.0 L kit

Is the turbo better than the supercharger . Ie what sort of power out put could you get out of either kit?

What could I expect if I put it on the 1.5 t sport ? I cant remeber who wrote it and where but someone here had the Hks turbo kit on the 1.0 l and was producing around 100bhp .

It was WRC Yaris who had a turbo 1.0 with all the gubbins.. made 100bhp at the wheels... he's got a supercharged 1.5 now, but he's upgrading to a turbo 'cos it only made 150-ish and he's after 200bhp!

Nice to know what you want!

Whaaaa ?

yes its nice to know what you want and also nice when you have the money to spend like that too. those supercharger kits and turbo kits are around 2 , 3 grand

Ive got upto 280 bhp on my Yaris !

On grand turismo 3 on the ps 2 , that is

cant wait to see what i get hp wise with turbo.

i dont think the 1.0L was 100hp at wheels, maybe at the flywheel.

by the way i have never had either one of my yaris going 100% with boost as i never go round to getting ECU work sorted out, then something always came up and i never got the chance. thats why im getting the turbo and taking it to the limit, im determined this time

I'd love to get the TTE compressor... T-sport slaying performance from a 1.3...

Aha, but you're obviously forgetting the first law of speed:

1) Red ones go faster!
