I have an Estima Aeras S Edition and I am trying to get behind the double head radio/cd to fit a frequency extender. How on earth does the centre of the dash surrounding the radio come off please help

Removal is very easy. Use a flat blade (I used a butter knife) to gently prise of the facia around the stereo unit. Just slip the blade in to small gap between the facia plate and the dash and levers up - do not force it if it won't come out. There are 6 clips holding it.

Now you can remove the plug for the Hazard lights and remove the facia entirely. Next remove the 4 screws holding the unit in. Remove the aerial from the back and plug it into your band expander. Plug in your aerial cord from the band expander to your unit (now it is inline). You may need to find a power wire for the expander too.
