Avensis D4D Engine Fault

I brought an avensis in feb 2011 with a full service history, in may 2011 it started losing coolant, I took it to a Toyota garage for some tests and was told that there was a fault with the engine and it had to be replaced. in july 2011 Toyota replaced the original engine with a modified counter engine and I was told that the new engine would out live the car. just over a week ago the replacement engine started losing coolant again, I rang the garage who replaced the engine who told me to ring Toyota GB they advised me to take it back to the garage and have the test done, I had the test done today and on the paperwork they gave me it confirms the same problem on the new engine, and I quote "the repair required is a new engine " however Toyota GB are now saying that the car is over 5 years old and out of milage warranty. even though the car has only done approx. 68,000 miles since the new engine just over 2 years ago.

can anyone help or suggest anything ??

My engine was replaced about 4,000 miles ago and it has appeared to loose a little coolant out of the overflow. It was overfilled, but ill be keeping a close eye on it.

How many miles is on the car in total?

the engine was replaced at approx. 88,000 the total now is 156,000

Grrr over the 112k goodwill mileage limit I'm afraid! How much coolant is the car loosing? What engine?
