i have a 2006 rav4 D4D Dcat 2.2 diesel my problem is the car goes into limp mode every 100 yards r so engine light comes on and the vsc warning light comes on i have been told it might be the fuel pressure switch on the common rail ??? which i hear is a common fault if i put a new common rail and new pressure switch would it cure the problem ??? any advice would be grateful thanks

What fault code is being thrown up? It may well be the pressure switch but could be other things. These switches do fail from time to time but not really a very common problem.
