Help With Spring/shock Size?

HI guys just quick question about shock lengh on rear as just fitted h&r 35mm drop springs and front went ok but when put back ones on they seem short well what I mean is when shock connected up theres still 1 to 2 inch gap between spring and spring seat looked at box it says its for 2.2 not 2.0 so phoned up and was told the springs are the same size so I was wondering if maybe the shocks on rear of the 2.2 where shorter left springs in as gravity holds them in but if jack car up the may fall out so shorter shocks whould fix this if the 2.2 are shorter I would install them to be safer

The 2.2 is different - the rear suspension is double wishbone fully independent.

The 2.0 is torsion beam rear. Send them back and get the correct ones.

can anyone help with part number for 35mm h&r springs for 57 plate auris tr 2.0 d4d the guy is adamant there the same springs
