Has Anyone Seen These Before?

The Silver 'convertible is from here- http://betterparts.org/gallery/toyota-iq-15.html which is from- http://betterparts.org/toyota/toyota-iq.html

The Purple Roadster is from- http://loadinform.com/iq-roadster/ and the rest are seen on Google Images. The blue Roadster is from the 2011 SEMA show. I have a feeling that as the iQ grows older we may just see more conversions and modifications.

A rumoured GM competitor to the IQ to replace the Agila dating back to 2009. GM went bankrupt instead.

Looks ok but then they'd have shot themselves in the foot by calling it the Vauxhall Clarence or Vauxhall Herbert or something equally as mad.

Probably would have been the Opel Fruits.

2009 Scion Concept

I like this concept. In some ways it looks good, but a little heavy looking at the back. I'm sure for the 1.33 version it would be worthwhile, as a little more oomph than the basic 1.0 model. Have to admit though, I'm not a great fan of the colour.

Isn't the IQ engine bay big enough to squeeze a 1.6 in? Now that could be fun :)

Yes according to Wikipedia the engine bay could accommodate a 1.6 engine. The 1.6 Valvematic from the Auris would be an intriguing fit - 132 bhp would provide slightly more go.

I still recon IQ will become quite desirable in UK when new UK stocks are exhausted !

I love our IQ and I'd like to agree with you, but I also seriously doubt it'll be a classic. A bit of a curio at a car show in 30 years time, but no classic I fear.
