Verso Icon Bluetooth / Dab System

Hi everyone i have a 2013 Verso Icon with the bluetooth/DAB system (not sure of its name!) but no sat nav (£650 for that - nah you're ok!) can i get this system upgraded as surely there must be a software upgrade by now? It does have usb. Any ideas pls?

The main issue is that it doesn't sync my contacts as it stops at 1000 and i have more than that. Any help?

This was a common (early) complaint with the head unit fitted to the Prius. It has a 1000 contact limit. Fine for the average geek with two friends and a mother, not so great for business users. I'm surprised it's still an issue to be honest, think Toyota dropped off a bit there. I don't know any any solution I'm afraid, apart from trimming your contacts list...which is probably not a solution at all!

Checking on Toyota's technical site there are no updates for non nav equipped cars.
