Considering To Buy Used Avensis

We have three kids, so in general our Camry is fine for us. Some time
parents visit us so we want to upgrade to a seven seater. After much
search my wife and I had drilled down our search to Toyota Avensis 2005
to 2010 model.

Our usage will be mostly with in state and some time long trips. What
we come to know about Avensis is it is fuel efficient, reliable and its
maintenance is also not expensive. Its seating is fine for 3 booster/
kids seats and middle and back seats have enough spacing for legs.
Further more middle and back seat are fold-able and back and forth moveable so spacing
for legs can be adjusted if all passengers are adults.

Is our expectation correct ? Can you please share your opinion ? Is there anything bad with Avensis for which we should avoid it or if we are not considering ? We will highly appreciate if you
please can help us deciding.

Where are you? In the UK I would take it that you mean the Verso - except that as far as I know they only made an Avensis Verso 2001-2005 otherwise the Verso being based on the Corolla?

sorry it is a little new info for me. Yet I saw some ads saying Avensis Verso and some just saying Avensis.

By being based on Corolla are you referring its 2.4 engine ?

Verso versions of Toyotas are MPV'S. In some markets you have the Avensis Verso, Corolla Verso (later renamed just Verso for Europe), etc.

The Avensis Verso is a seven seater MPV related to the Avensis saloon/hatchback/estate. Also known in some markets as the Ipsum and the Picnic. Produced from 2001 to 2009.
