Common Rail technology was introduced to diesels in 2007, and these will require CRD Fuel Enhancer. It can be used in earlier diesel engines, but is not suitable for petrol engines.

This is in their instructions. So with what technology is my 2.0 d4d 2005 Avensis?

The fact is that the first car using Common Rail was the Alfa 156 with 2.4 diesel back in the 1997. Fallowed by Mercedes C 220 CDI. I would leave those behind, just for that sentences alone.
