Removing Mirror Glass Mk1 Aygo

Guys, I believe that the mirror glass just prises out but I have been trying for 30mins with no movement and I fear that if I go any harder the glass wil break!

I am just trying to get the covers off (the colour coded bit) so I can get them wrapped and they are held in by several clips behind the glass. I have tried to get to the clips without removing the glass but its not happening.

Anyone got any ideas?!

Yeah cheers for that. Everything I read suggested that they just pull off. Well mine did in the end, cracking the glass in the processs and pulling one of the adjuster cables through the plastic housing behind the mirror so thats fubar as well now. It was on there for sure! Still got to do the other side yet.. Hopefully it will come off with less damage..
