New Yaris Delivery Time

Hi, having to wait a least 6-8 weeks for a Yaris Excel ,due to my colour choice, Burning Red, is this a reasonable amount of time for delivery?

If a factory build then yes in my opinion. Anything up to 4 months depending upon manufacture is more than reasonable.

Yep, when I ordered mine it was anything up to 3 months or from available UK stock to the dealership it was about 2 weeks.

Last October I was told a burning red would take 8 weeks for delivery. Went for the blue which arrived in 10 days. Must be that the red which has a limited factory run or its very popular.

Friend of mine wanted a Polo, told it could be up to six monthe for delivery. Things could be worse!

We ordered a red one from the factory last October. Waiting time was 9 weeks.

I presume the Chilli Red are in demand as it is now the only colour where one doesn't have to pay extra .......

You are lucky in UK, in Germany we have to pay extra for a red Yaris. Only white is included in base price.

In the UK, solid white (Pure White) is an extra £250.

Interesting Thing what they do with the colors. Burning Red in UK is Chili Red in Germany and Chili Red (UK) is called Vulcano Red here.
