Just a thought at the moment but would like some idea's from any members in the know :)

Am considering trying to get my father to swap his license plate as it's stuck on a '69 car which isn't really used onto mine.

What I need to find out is how much it would cost to get the '69 plate "CLA5S" on mine and how much it would cost to re-register a generic old plate for the old car....

Anyone here any idea's ?

you can register it to you car it would cost about £80

you might want to try and register a Irish number plate for the 69... this is the cheapest whay i would have thought

Thanks Steve, so for about £150 I could have a "CLA5S" number plate literally....

Next thing I have to do is persuade my father :D :D :D

I know which is why it's bugging me when it is just sitting on a car in a garage somewhere which only does 1k a year if that....

Will be speaking to my father this weekend with any luck have it on my car soon as he isn't bothered by what plate is on his car...
