Hi , I'm in the unfortunate position of having both door cylinders on my 1999 Rav4 fail within days of each other , any contacts for replacements would be most welcome.

Hi Mickie...

I know it sounds simple... but have youe tried squirting a dose of WD40 into the lock mechanisms via the key entry slots and working the key a few times?  They can dry out and stop working else!  Failing that a car-breakers would be a cheaper alternative.  Toyota would probably want as much for the barrel assm's as what the car is worth... and that's even if they have them.   Did you get a quoate and availability from Toyota?

Unfortunately, with cars of this age you have to get inventive....

Dave (I used to have an avatar of my 98 Rav4... but it seems to have vanished, too old I suspect!)
