Poor reception on their FM radio on the Toyota Yaris Hybrid Trend model 2014

Anyone getting poor reception on their FM radio on the Toyota Yaris Hybrid Trend model 2014 ? The symptoms are hissing, crackling or static, and, when really bad, like someone rustling paper or foil. At first I thought it was me being ultra sensitive with my new car but I own a Toyota Yaris 2003 model and the reception is so good. I have tried the same route on the same channel (Capital) with both yaris cars

 

The static on the new yaris seems to appear after the car is being driven for a while, and it comes and goes. Periods when the reception is good and then periods when the rustling appears. I thought at first it might be owing to a change in transmission frequencies but it happens in areas where there is no frequency change. The problem is intermittent, and wouldn't you know it, when I brought it to the dealer we have replace the antenna with a big one but still the problem remains.
