Help! Hazard lights stop working after bulb change!

Hello everyone

So today I changed the right reverse bulb on my Aygo (2012) but still the right reverse light is not working and now the hazard lights don't work either! The hazard button doesn't make the usual noise when pressed and hazard icons don't appear on the dash and all indicators don't come on. The indicators work fine when used normally with the indicator stick. Hazards were working when I checked a few days ago. I must have done something when changing the reverse bulb maybe but the only thing I struggled with was having to yank out the wire connector going to the rear right lights with a screwdriver but with no signs of damage. Strange thing is the right rear indicator and brake lights work fine. Anyone know what on earth is going on here to save me a trip to the garage?

I'm not familiar with your particluar car but lots of modern cars don't have a reverse light on the right - it's often a fog light on the right and a reversing light on the left (in the same location within the light cluster).

The hazards are on a different circuit to the indicators, since the hazards need to be able to operate with the ignition off.  Check the fuses as a first port of call.
