2010 Toyota Auris Hybrid Brake Pads help

Hi all,

I've recently bought a 2010 Toyota Auris 1.8 VVTi Hybrid T4 (89g/km) 5d CVT Auto. The car is running fine.

During a recent clean, I was looking at the front and rear brake pads through the wheels and they seem quite low to me.

Questions:

1. Does the car come with a brake pad wear indicator/ sensor/ warning?

2. Any idea about the part number for front and rear pads? Can I post the car registration number here?

3. I've done several brake pads myself before but not on Hybrid. I've been told to keep the keys away by a friend while doing brakes. Anything else I need to be careful about?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Could someone advise if the pads come with wear indicators?

Yes, the pads come with wear indicators. If you go to one of the online motor factors eg Euro Car Parts and type in your car registration number you will see examples.
