iPhone cable not working

My wife's Aygo go has the cable to connect an old iPhone to which works ok with her old iPhone 4. She has upgraded to the iPhone 6 and has bought an adaptor to fit her new phone but it won't play any music. Any help welcome

Try using the genuine Apple charging USB cable and see if it works.

Updates and compatibility are controlled by TOMTOM their own lists only go so far as an Iphone5 with nothing newer however it may pay to ensure the TOMTOM is fully updated see : http://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/minor_detail/a_id/7448/
