Hazard warning flashes ...

Hi everyone,

                  my key fob doesn`t work so I manually lock/unlock the doors. The red light above the central fresh air vents has been flashing all the time, even during driving. But now when I open the door the hazard lights start flashing for around 30 seconds ! Then I start the car and drive and the hazards start  again ! Oh the red light above the vents is now on all the time, ie not flashing. Can anyone help, it is annoying. Spoiling what is a great car.
