I have a friend who is design a revolutionary piece of Anti - Virus Software and he is looking for beta testers, basically any one who will use the program and report any wierd fluctations or bugs.

This is revolutionary becuase it doesnt require the use of definitions at all, it looks at everything on your computer and determines wether it is a virus.

The Programmer has a virus collection with over 170,000 viruses to test this program, it had a 100% test result!! And whats more, this AV protects itself! how many have you have had a virus that attacked norton! Well no more! :D

For more information, please look at this website www.sybertrek.com

If you are interest please post a reply, or PM me :D

Sorry, it doesnt work on any 9X versions of windows, if you have windows upwards you can beta test it.

You will be recieving the program november time and you would own one of the best AV programs to date IMO

Cheers Guys (And "Gurls")

Matt

EDIT:

Right hes got a new website

http://www.terainnovations.com/

The Lasest version DOES have definitions as people like having names and it needs them to classify as a AV prog.

This is has now been tested with 700,000 virus with a 100% test result

and another computer with 300,000 different virus with a 99.989% test result

Anything can stop virii from doing their thing; it's knowing whether or not it's a virus or merely a legit program that's the hard part...

Its not gonna do anything silly like deleting progs that might be virii but isnt? I do alot of work in C++ and the likes of Norton etc keep thinking my work is a suspicious file :censor:

If it can cope with my work, I'll give it a shot!!

Well I shouldnt say I really.......

I wrote some code up, couldnt get borland to make sense of it, so I handed it over to my dad, who wrote the compiler for his work, and he got it working for me lol
