Afraid not the beam is unique to the T-sport

On the other models the beam varies by:

Build factory Franch or Japanese

Build date

Wheel size 13 or 14 inch

With or without ABS

With rear drums or Discs

Engine size

On a normal model you would have to match the correct combination above to get the correct beam. Whereas the t-sport only had one type not shared with any other model.

I'm in need of help in this area now.

The arms of the rear beam / axle of my Japanese 2002 D4D 5dr (1ND-TV) have rusted through and I need to know what models I can get parts from.

I can't believe that every model and every factory had a slightly different fitment.

In fact I'm amazed that a major chassis component would have variants across the range for that model.

Any help greatly recieved. I know this is an old post but I really need to get the car on the road ASAP.

I would say ANY Japanese built Yaris 1999 to 2004 would be the same.. BUT the suspension on a D4D - springs/coils may well be different (the springs are).  So you may have to remove those and swap over  - but as you will have to remove them anyway to remove the subframe .. no extra work... I would try to use a 1.3 - more likely to have the same parts as a D4D.. the 1.0 had several changes to save weight .

Sorry for the vagueness.

Since my post in 2017 Toyota have simplified things, where previously you would have had variation depending on engine, country of build and with/without ABS they have reduced the options down to two depending on rear brake disc or rear brake drum with ABS setup.

Previously if you had for example a french built without ABS you would get exactly that a french built part without fittings for ABS however now all beams are of the Japanese type with ABS fittings ( ABS fittings would remain unused on a non ABS car ) this simplifies things if you are buying new.

It also slightly simplifies things if you are trying to source a used bit as you can ignore engine type and build location you just need match with rear drums / with rear discs and if you have ABS make sure the used beam comes from a car with ABS if you don't have ABS you can used either with/without ABS type.

Latest part numbers are:

42110-52130 Drum type

42110-52180 Disc type

Hope this make sense

After further part # checking as MADASFISH says avoid 1.0 as donor source they do not follow the above, 1.3 & 1.4d will be fine, T-Sports all had rear discs so unless you have rare Mk1 non Tsport with rear discs avoid 1.5 Tsport as donor as well
