I have been trying unsuccessful to obtain a Toyota Auris Eco run Converter ECU module G92C0-12020 for  my daughters car 

Symptoms is the dash light is on continuously and will drain the Battery only part no i can find on eBay is Toyota Auris Eco run Converter  ECU module G92C0-12010 which has different pin configuration 

is it possible to repair this module and if so where ?

Part number has been replaced by G92C0-12021, surely Toyota can get you one?

Is the module able to be opened without damage? It would be interesting to see what is in one of these because this issue does crop up fairly regularly on here.
