Auris TS Hybrid (2015) - problems with USB audio/MP3

Since the 6.10.0WL update I'm having problems with my USB audio. I've tried different USB sticks all with the same result.

The USB sticks are FAT32 formatted and there are no more than 550 files on the stick. This week I installed the 6.12.0WL update, problem not fixed...

Problem:

The system does not remember which song was playing last en "resets" itself every time I start my car.

So for instance I'm playing the latest and greatest cd from Adele (read: my wife does that 😉) and switch the engine off, go for some groceries and come back to start the car:

USB loads up and just plays a different song from USB stick (of course the option to play tracks randomly is off).

Any one having the same problem? Yet better: is there a fix. workaround or anything?

I don't use mine that much on my Auris but every time I select it I have to take the USB stick out and re insert it, it then continues from where it left off last time.  The Yaris works every time.
