2006 gearbox

Hi all , I'm new to this so be kind!

my 2006 xt3 2.0 vvi has developed a gearbox fault , can't use 5th just grinds.

ive been trying to find a replacement but need some advice.

engine code is 1AZ-FE this seems to be the engine code in earlier models too. Gearbox has A6E6P4P code but that's been of no help so far. I've had a few online quotes but research says they are dodgy dealers.

Will an older model 1Az-FE box fit? any advice on what box to buy?
