Add tilt/shock sensor to stock car alarm (E210 - 2019)

Hi

I have just put an intelligent tilt sensor with a physical steel cat barrier that bolts to the front subframe. I used an Arduino microprocessor to control the logic of the tilt sensor so that it does not need switches or other manual switches. It knows when the car is locked and unoccupied and as such does not turn lights on etc when driving. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the devices and it can even text you if it detect something. Not bad for £150 all-in.

Morning Eskomoain

You say there are two types of tilt sensor. I have the one that reacts to a negative input.  Hawk TS-02 looks like the one you have - I have wired it to the door sensor - the red light in the sensor flashes on movement or shock but it has no effect on the alarm.

Could it be because the Prius system triggered by a positive feed?

Secondly, do you have any idea where the alarm ECU is located?

Thanks any help much appreciated

Ian
