New Yaris

I am living and working in Spain, and was surprised to see an advert on the TV advertising revisions to the Yaris. Apparently bringing the model into line with the T1 T-Spirit models etc.

There are some photos of it (although not that clear) on the www.toyota.es website.

They have appeared to have made subtle changes to the shape of the lights, the interior spec and front bumpers. Looks nice tho, and couldn't find it on the UK site, so thought you might fancy a look.

Comes out in May in the Uk I've heard.

since I can share more info, let me do so ;-)

(this info is about whole European market)

- exterior is slightly changed, front lights are more agresssive together with the hood... rear lights are all darker now... all models get color painted bumpers and ABS+EBD

- interior is of better quality and is darker... all models now get 3d display, 2nd airbag, 14" tires, drives seat adjustable in height...

other version will get more standard kit at lower prices... top version will now have side airbags as well

engines are slightly tunder for better co2 figures...all markets get 1.4 D-4D engine now

Basically, car now looks more agressive although only slight changes have been made...inside looks better and is better equiped @ lower price...

May have to reconsider my plans and "upgrade" to a new T-Sport when we get them in the UK.

Have to say that I'm pleased that options such as steering wheel audio controls, have finally reached the Yaris - looks up2date although it never really looked out of date! That's what you have to love about this car.

If anyone finds any more sites with the new Yaris on, please let me know as I'd like to drool over it some more (haha)

top of the range versions now pretty much have everything you could want in a small car

and my accessories catalogue for new yaris has some really nice pics of Toyota tuned Yaris's... looks sooo nice, even more aggressive than before... but cute as well
