Idler Bearing

I've just replaced this idler bearing about 3 months ago and again this weekend. I've noticed the squeeling of my belt and heard a crackling sound. When I pulled down the belt, the bearing was really worn out. Just a few bearing balls left the cover was smashed and no grease at all. To you guys, how long does it take before we replace this part? :ffs:
