Hi folks,

Can antone give me some guidance on which viscosity and type of oil to use.

I've only had the celica a week and want to do the normal service things. I assume it would be 10W40 but should it be normal, semi-synthetic or fully synthetic oil?

Any advise would be appreciated.

hi m8,

i'm on my way to buy a celica as we speak, at the mo i've got a corolla GTI-16v and put fully s in it, i rag it from cool and the baby shows no signs of wear. just my opion but hope it helps, hopefully leeky will answer you, he's a toyota guru . . . :thumbsup:

Dealer used to put 10W40 (semi-synthetic) in my Celica 1.8 SR, and my MR2 2.0 GT has the same - same engine as your Celica 2.0 GT too :)
