Stepper motor limp mode code for sr5 hilux

Hi

I have a 2006 sr5 diesel hilux and since having the carbon cleaned from the manifold it has been going into limp mode, the code is p1251, step motor for turbo charger control circuit(intermittent). I took it to toyota and they couldn't replicate the code so they did a compression test and found the injectors were out so I had those replaced. About 15klm away from toyota it went back into limp mode with the same code. If anyone who may have had similar issues can help that would be unreal.
