Android Auto Google Map Layout Flip

Posting this in case anyone else is wondering.  I noticed the map view and directions/buttons layout had been flipped on the display when using Google Maps via Android Auto.  Thought I had accidentally changed the layout but couldn't work out how to change it back as I preferred the map view being on the right.  Turns out this was the result of an update, the theory being for RHS drive you have easier access to the touchscreen controls.

Yes, I noticed that too, it appeared in the latest release version of AA on Sept 1. No mention in the sparse update info in the app. I don't mind the switch.

Updates to AA are coming thick and fast these days.

Yea I also noticed that the other day and I prefer search being on the left of the screen. Much better UX imo.
