Removing DPF for cleaning

I have a Avensis 2009 T27 and I would like to remove DPF to clean the DPF. Any body knows how to take it out. I checked under the body of the car and could not find it. Can anybody help me please?

not sure how to take it off but you are right taking it off and sending it away to get cleaned with those perfesional machines for that job. those guys that come to your house and do it on the car are a waste of money and time

those place u go to is waste of money as think they so called clean it when the dpf is on the car tbh best way is to take it off. im sure toyota knows the dpf needs cleaned so cant see it been to hard tp do. have you not got a reliable mechanic that would do it i always have a good mechanic i stick with hes good .to get a better job i think dpf better taken off and brought to one of those shops that have that machine. u never know maybe those specialists that have that cleaning machine maybe they might take it off. make sure if u going to a shop they do take it out not so called clean it on the car
