Heated rear screen is not working.

The light on the switch works.

Can anyone help me to try to repair this?

I've had people saying needs a new rear screen.

Do you have a multimeter? If so, check the connection at the rear screen to see if it's getting voltage. If it is, the screen is likely the problem - Examine it carefully for breaks/damage in the heater elements. You can sometimes bodge a fix with a silver trace pen if some of the tracks are fractured.

I've just bought a 2002 Celica and have the same problem. Light indicates it is working but heated screen doesn't work!

The fact that the switch illuminates only indicates that the bulb in the switch works.

You’ll have to investigate further as to why the rear screen doesn’t work.  It could be the relay, switch, wiring fault i.e. bad earth etc.
