Toyota Tank/Roomy

Hi 

Has anyone had experience of importing a Tank/Roomy mini mpv?  I'm thinking of something like this 2017 model;

Not available in UK and quite rare, even in Japan, because 4WD & Turbo requirements.  My main concern is getting it through an IVA test once landed in UK

Not seen these crop up on our forums. Actually a Badge engineered version of the Daihatsu Thor, and built by Daihatsu.

Yes, I noticed that and I'm including the Thor in my search.  However the Toyota badged cars appear to outnumber the Daihatsu's by about 4:1 but not sure about price differences.

Wasn't aware of the model at all...but I love it.!...so chunky and quirky.

I would be cautious about the parts situation, being rare it could be difficult to source anything handy

Thanks for the advice.  I noticed most of the on-line suppliers don't list the Tank.  It would be a pita importing maintenance items from Japan.  I would however be prepared to wait for major replacement items as I also have a campervan & motorbike to fall back on if the Toyota is off the road.  Btw now adding Porte model to my search list.
